call me “masterchef” already

I do not have a lot of experience cooking, but I enjoy making toast, scrambled eggs, etc. My mom often makes food and then pretends I made it to impress her friends so people think I’m a better chef than I really am.

Chemistry was my worst subject in high school (I had a bad teacher), but I think chemistry is interesting.

From this course, I expect to understand cooking and the science behind it. I hope that understanding the chemistry of cooking will help me become a better cook, and hopefully I’ll be able to make more than toast and scrambled eggs by the end of this course.
